Experience a slice of life as it was in the 18th century Edo era by visiting Tobe’s farmhouse which is registered as a national heritage building.
If you have any interest in traditional Japanese arts then a visit to Takumi no Sato Craft Village should be an essential stop on your itinerary. The village comprises 27 houses that each offer a different Japanese craft for which you can try your hand.
From making Japanese paper to traditional wood craft and even making soba noodles there is bound to be something that brings out your creative side, and perhaps help you create the perfect souvenir.
